Dr. Paul Campbell has 20 years of experience performing and leading research and development projects in biotechnology. Dr. Campbell also is chief science officer of Glycos Biotechnologies, Inc., an industrial biotechnology company developing chemicals from renewable, non-food carbon sources.
As an active member of the life sciences and biotechnology communities, Dr. Campbell is a past member of the Industrial Advisory Board for the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Biorenewable Chemicals. In addition, he is an advisor of the Mercury Fund, a seed- and early-stage venture capital firm.
Dr. Campbell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Duke University and earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry and cell biology from Rice University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.
